We are a growing, fast-paced, physician-led office that is a leader in our field looking for a detail-oriented and motivated full-time Billing Specialist. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate billing and timely reimbursement for healthcare services provided by our practice. Key Responsibilities Include
Preparing and submitting accurate claims to insurance companies, government payers and patients
Reviewing patient accounts and verifying insurance coverages
Resolving claim denials, rejections and payment discrepancies
Posting payments and adjustments to patient accounts
Maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations including HIPAA
Communication with patients regarding billing inquiries and providing excellent customer service
Collaboration with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements
While prior experience in medical billing, coding, or healthcare administration is preferred; we welcome candidates with transferrable skills (i.e. experience in finance, accounting, or administrative roles requiring accuracy and compliance, proficiency in billing software, databases or other financial tolls) and a strong willingness to learn. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and experience with EPIC or another electronic EMR system also preferred.
