Qualifications 2ND SHIFT POSITION: Qualifications Technical Education in related field. Hands on experience with gas turbine engines (preferred). Familiar with the manufacturing principles; planning, data systems etc. Must have High School diploma, or equivalent. Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder per FAA requirements.
Responsibilities This entry-level position requires the incumbent to learn, read, comprehend and perform a variety of basic manufacturing methods to support disassembly, repair and assembly of aero-derivative engines under the guidance of an experienced Engine Mechanic, Subject-Matter Expert (SME), Lead or Leader. Actively participates in OJT by learning and applying manufacturing techniques and knowledge to support disassembly, repairing and assembly of aero-derivative engines. Assists Engine Mechanics with preparing and visually inspecting parts, tools, reviewing sketches and technical information. Performs basic manufacturing, disassembly and assembly of aero-derivative gas turbine engines. Work as scheduled, on time and every day. Observe the "Three Circles" with particular focus on Chromalloy Values. Adherence to all Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures. All other duties assigned by Leadership.
