As an International Payment Specialist  you will primarily concentrate on spearheading international growth opportunities among Commercial Bank clients and prospects in the region. You will collaborate with regional sales representatives, Treasury Management Sales officers, and Commercial bankers to prioritize opportunities and develop market or segment-specific sales plans. Your role will involve providing technical expertise to cultivate new business and broaden existing global relationships in the fields of Treasury Services, lending, trade, and foreign exchange. Additionally, you will engage effectively with product areas, regional counterparts in overseas branches, and clients.

Job responsibilities:

  • Grow the international book of business for your market including treasury management revenue, lending, trade and foreign exchange revenues for new and existing clients.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for all international services for new and existing clients in that market.
  • Demonstrate to clients and bankers their product, process, country and global fluency across Treasury Services, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Syndicated and Bilateral Finance, ABL, Trade Finance, Investment Management and Investment Banking.
  • Develop regional or global cash & liquidity solutions for corporate clients working in partnership with local Treasury Management sales representatives including market or segment strategy development, direct client calling, profiling targeted companies, creating proposals, making presentations and structuring, negotiating and closing transactions.
  • Coordinate with overseas partners in Product, Sales, Credit, Service, Implementation, Risk & Compliance to support overall sales opportunities
  • Assist and collaborate in growing the International product knowledge of local Treasury Management sales representatives and Commercial bankers to improve and leverage their ability to profile for new global business opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for new products and services and better ways to effectively sell and deliver existing products
  • Provide sales input and the client perspective into product development, marketing initiatives and other related tasks
  • Manage resources effectively and monitor expenses incessantly while looking for ways to increase efficiency and improve profitability

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10+ years of treasury management/sales or banking experience
  • Understanding of International Treasury Solutions products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to travel frequently
