Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data architectures using Databricks and Snowflake in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure).

• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and pipelines to enable reliable data ingestion, transformation, and storage.

• Document architecture designs, technical specifications, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to design end-to-end data solutions that meet business needs.

• Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance the data ecosystem

• Troubleshoot and resolve data platform issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

• Leads and mentors team members in following best practices to deliver high quality software.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on release management and deployment automation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Master's degree preferred.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in implementing end-to-end data and analytics solutions, utilizing technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, PySpark for ETL, and proficient in data modeling methodologies

• Proficiency in Snowflake data warehousing and analytics & Experience with Databricks big data processing and analytics (Minimum of 5 years of experience.)

• Extensive end-to-end solutioning and implementation expertise, encompassing data lakes and Lakehouse architectures

• In-depth knowledge of big data concepts and technologies (Python / Spark)

• Experience in design and implementation of end-to-end data solutions

• Experience in business intelligence, reporting, and/or delivery of modern visualization solutions (Tableau, Power BI)

• Strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools, implementation experience with multiple data sources & various data formats (Structured, Semi-Structured & Unstructured)

Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
